ALMA MATER
Here roamed of old the Red Man,
Here stood his skin tepee,
Here crossed the Mystic Red Stick,
Hail Istrouma, Hail Istrouma,
Hail Istrouma cried the trees.
Hail Istrouma, alma mater,
Tender love we owe to thee,
Hail lstrouma, alma mater,
We will ever loyal be.
SPECIAL THANKS
Many of the graduates of our Class of' 51 spent countless hours working to
make this reunion a reality. They met in their homes, made plans, visited
potential sites for the reunion, typed lists, wrote and addressed letters, collected
and dispersed money, copied lists, and gave of their time to help us all have a
successful reunion. There is no way we can individually thank these classmates
because there were so many of them involved. We can only express our gratitude
to all of them for giving us this special night to renew our friendships and to
remember "our time" in 1951.
We, the Istrouma class of '51, were, and are, a great bunch of people!!!
A SPECIAL THANKS TO:
Harold Newman, for starting the ball rolling and getting us all together and
pushing and prodding us to get it done. Although we don't always show it, we
appreciate all that he has done. Thanks, HAROLD, for helping us have a
successful reunion that helps us remember a momentous time in all our lives.
