Miller, Glenn
Died 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25, 1994, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional
Medical Center. He was 63, a native of Slidell and a resident of Denham Springs. He
was a U.S. Army veteran. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 7 to
9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home 11 a.m. until religious services
in the chapel at 2 p.m. Tuesday, conducted by Brother Al Moore. Burial in Hope
Haven Cemetery, Gonzales. Survived by two daughters, Anita D. Miller and
Melinda Long, both of Denham Springs; two sons, Dwayne Stanley Miller, Denham
Springs, and Paul Wesley Miller, Walker; two sisters, Vivian Millet and Beverly
Hill; a brother, Paul W. Miller Jr., Baton Rouge; and three grandchildren, Paul
Wesley Miller Jr., Durek B. Carpenter Jr. andAustin Gunter Charles Carpenter.
Preceded in death by two grandsons, Carlos Glenn Carpenter and Glenn Miller
Jr. Pallbearers will be Paul Miller, Bob Bledsoe, Wes Tanner, William "Willie"
Long, Dwayne Miller and William Donnell. He was a member of St. Amant Baptist

Ross, Henry Lee
Died at 7:10a.m. Saturday, December 3, 1977, at his residence. He was 45. a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He was an operator at Kaiser Aluminum and a veteran of the Korean War. Body to be at Welsh Funeral Home, with visiting after 8a.m. Monday. Religious services at Welsh Funeral Home chapel at 11 a.m. Monday conducted by the Revs. Salvadore Moran and Ed Simmons. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Hankin Ross, Baton Rouge; three daughters, Misses Lynn and Lisa Ross and Mrs. Donald J. Laurie Moran, all of Baton Rouge; two brothers, George H. Ross, Gonzales, and Abe Ross, Baton Rouge. Preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Courville Ross, and his father, William Harvey Ross. He was a member of the Lanier Baptist Church.  Memorial donations may be made to a preferred charity.

Division electrician, and a V.S. Navy veteran,of the Korean conflict. Visiting at
Rabenhorst Funeral Home East 11000 Flordia Blvd., after 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Religious servIces at l,p.m.Wednesday at  the funeral home, conducted by the Rev.
Jim Bain and the Rev. S.C. Rushing. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by 
his wife Aline Heard Efferson; a daughter, Linqa Dee Efferson; a son, Clifton Todd
Efferson; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Bordelon and Mrs. Peggy Love; three borthers, Otto,
Carl M.,and Ernest Dudley Efferson; a daugh1er-in-law, Margot James Efferson;
and a grandson, Samuel Blake Efferson. He was a member of Istrouma Baptist
Church and Istrouma Lodge No. 414,
F&AM, and Istrouma Chapter No.162,

Died 6 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 1992, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was
61 and a native of Beaver Falls, Pa. He was a retired South Central Bell
Telephone Co. employee. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida
Blvd., 5 p.m. until memorial services at 7 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev.
John Kersey. Survived by wife, Jean C. Lang, Baton Rouge; a daughter and
son-in-law, Cathy and Michael Orillion, Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law,
William Jr. and Derinda Lang, Baton Rouge; a sister, Dianne Mitchell, Albany, Ga.; a
brother, Kirk Lang, Hartford, Conn.; and three grandchildren, Mark and Jason
Lang and Scott Orillion. He was a member of Pioneers of America and Elks
