BADON, JR.  CLYDE MORRISON   

A retired mechanical engineer at Exxon Co. USA with 30 years of service and a resident of St. Francisville, he died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 68 and a native and former longtime resident of Baton Rouge. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Bob Burgess and the Rev. Harold Babin. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his wife, Rebecca Patton Badon; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Gary Davis and Karen and Curtiss Vidrine; two sons, Robert Clyde and Clinton McCain Badon; two brothers, Dan W. and Melvin M. Badon; 12 grandchildren, Matthew, Travis, Lauren, Justin, Sarah, Ben and Zachariah Badon, Stacey Davis Longoria, Brittany and Missy Davis and Curt and Becky Vidrine; and a great-grandchild, Davis Chance Longoria. Preceded in death by his parents, Frances D. and Clyde M. Badon Sr. He was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Fairfield Masonic Lodge No. 425, F&AM, Exxon Fleur-de-Lis Retirement Club, American Legion, Big Track Hunting Club and Lake Rosemound Association. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis, TN 38148-0552.

SULLIVAN,   EVA BARRETT  

A retired cook at Ruby's Restaurant and a homemaker, she died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, at her residence. She was 65, a native of Coal, Pa., and a resident of the Baton Rouge area for more than 50 years. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Fred Youngs. Survived by three sons, five daughters and four sons-in-law, Patrick R. Sullivan, Hamilton J. Sullivan Jr., Gail and Kim Simon, Patty Dupre, Sharon and Bobby J. Rasco, Mary and Glenn McMillian, Bridget and Richard Jermain and James R. Sullivan; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Steve Cominiti-Barrett; a brother-in-law, Jim Howard; a sister-in-law, Gloria Mercier; and eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Hamilton J. Sullivan Sr.; a son, William Grady Sullivan; and parents, Russell and Florence Barrett. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and a graduate of Istrouma High School.

LETEFF,    HELEN BELL  

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, retired and a resident of Denham Springs, she died at her home Thursday afternoon, Feb. 1, 2001. She was 68 and a native of Baton Rouge. Memorial services will be held at 34127 Louis Leteff Road, Denham Springs, at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Rev. William Nolan. Survived by her husband of 50 years, Louis Leteff, Denham Springs; two sons, Frank L. Leteff, Springfield, and Robert Leteff Jr., Denham Springs; four sisters, Mabel Alderman, Ruby Magnolia, Katherine Bello and Marguerite O'Quinn, all of Baton Rouge; and a grandchild, Wilson Leteff, Baton Rouge. Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.

MIZELL,    DONALD RAY  

A retired houseparent for the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe and a former pipe fitter for Plumbers and Steamfitters Un-ion Local 198, he died at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 70 and a native of Point Pleas-ant, Mo. He was a U.S. Navy Sea-bee during the Korean conflict. Visiting was at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Visiting at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until religious services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. John Rushing and the Rev. B.K. Miller. Interment in Rose-lawn Memorial Park. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Betty Taylor Mizell, Zachary; three daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Mi-chael Duplessis, Prairieville, Lee Anne and David Whittington, Zachary, and Joy and Craig McGinnis, Ponder, Texas; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Reeann Mizell, Baton Rouge, Russell and Melinda Mizell, Denham Springs, and Mark Cheairs, Baton Rouge; a sister, Christine Odum, Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie F. Mizell and Willie Lee Haigler Mizell. Pallbearers will be member of the men’s Sunday school class of First Baptist Church of Baker. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Baker.

Clark; a sister, Ronda Courville; two brothers, Edwin Arnold Jr. and Don Arnold; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Joshua, Julie and Ashleigh; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Anne. He is preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Behrens and Betty Harrison.
