Died Tuesday,
Dec. 17, 1985, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 54, a
native of Mississippi and a resident of Baton Rouge. He was a
Lousteau Ford of Gonzales employee and U.S. Air Force veteran.
Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5
to 11 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. Thursday. Religious
services at Blackwater United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Thursday,
conducted by the Rev. Larry Stafford. Burial in church cemetery.
Survived by wife, Virginia Alello Youngblood, Baton Rouge, father,
James N. Youngblood, Meridian, Miss.; two daughters, Patricia
Rice, Baton Rouge, and Elizabeth Shelton, Denham Springs; two
sons, Noel and James "Jim" Youngblood, both of Baton
Rouge, a brother, Harold Youngblood, Hickory, Miss.; and three
grandchildren. Preceded in death by mother, Bessie Cooley
Youngblood; a brother, James Thomas Youngblood; and a
granddaughter, Michelle Lynn Rice. He was a member of Blackwater
United Methodist Church.
