BICKHAM JR.,
KEITH DARYL A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Keith Daryl
Bickham Jr. died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at the age of 74. He was
born in DeQuincy and later moved to Georgia, where he graduated
from the University of Georgia. He was a member of the U.S. Marine
Corps, having served in Korea. After serving his country, he
taught school in Georgia and retired as a high school teacher from
the East Baton Rouge Parish school system with 20 years of
service. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Schlick Bickham; a
brother, Merle E. Bickham; a daughter, Janice Elaine Bickham; a
son and daughter-in-law, Mark Raymond Bickham and Terri Bickham;
two stepdaughters, Carol Rotolo Ray and Angeline Rotolo DePauw; a
stepson, Shelby Joseph Rotolo II; five grandchildren, Chris
Graham, Casey Graham, Coty Seale, Caila Seale and Cory Seale; and
a stepgrandchild, Bradley Stephen Rotolo. He was preceded in death
by his parents. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and
the U.S. Marine Corps League and was an active participant in the
Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral
Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Tuesday, April 5, from 6 p.m. to 9
p.m. and Wednesday, April 6, at the funeral home chapel from 9
a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by Dr. Paige
Burns. Interment with military honors in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be members of the Marine Corps League and
honorary pallbearers are Larry Helouin and Dan Carroll. In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist
Church, 529 Convention St., Baton Rouge, LA 70802 or the Marine
Corps Toys for Tots Program, 8410 General Chennault Drive, Baton
Rouge, LA 70817, Attention: Sgt. M. Donaldson. The family
expresses deep gratitude to Dr. Gerald P. Miletello and his staff.
