Retired from
Copolymer Corp. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 10 P.M.
Thursday, Aug. 22, 1996, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical
Center. He was 65 and native of Baton Rouge. He was a U.S. Marine
Corp veteran. Visiting at welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd.,
5 P.M. to 9 P.M. Sunday and after 8:30 A.M. Monday. Religious
services at the funeral home chapel at 10 A.M. Monday, conducted
by the Rev. Kevin McKee. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of
Memorial Survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Beth and
Clay Stewart and Beverly and Pat Hanegan; a son, Ben Taber; a
sister, Joyce Taber Serpas; and six grandchildren, Lauren, Kyle
and Rebecca Stewart and Blake, Ben and Brooke Hanegan. Preceded in
death by wife, Carol Chaney Taber; and parents, Ben and Gladys
Taber.
