Died on
March 1, 1961. He is buried in Roselawn Cemetery, North
Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Raymond served in the U.S.
Navy
during the Korean war. This information was furnished by his
oldest sister, Doris Dicharry Bridges, 10730 Foster Road, Baton
Rouge, Louisiana 70811. There were 7 children in the
Dicharry family--Raymond was the youngest and Doris was the oldest
(IHS class of 1943). Doris said she was real close with her
little brother,
Raymond. Folks, I am glad I now have this information and
can share it with you. My memories of Raymond were those of
a very nice and friendly young fellow. Unfortunately, he was
burdened with extreme bowed legs but it seemed he always made
light of it. I miss Raymond and all of our other deceased
classmates--they were part of my past--AND A PART OF MY LIFE HERE
ON THIS EARTH.
