 GREGOIRE,
RITA MAE ASHFORD
An employee in
charge of records at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center
for 121/2 years and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 8:15
p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30, 1999, at her home following an extended
illness. She was 69 and a native of Central. Visiting was at
Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Monday. Visiting at Zoar Baptist Church, 9 a.m. until religious
services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Larry Hubbard.
Interment in church cemetery. Survived by her loving husband,
Roger Gregoire Sr., Baton Rouge; three sons and a daughter-in-law,
Gene and Rhonda Gregoire, Billy Gregroire and Darrell Gregoire,
all of Central; two grandchildren, Todd and Cindi Gregoire, both
of Central; a brother, J.D. Ashford, Central; a nephew and his
wife, Johnny and Pam Ashford, Central; a great-nephew; a
great-niece; and a dedicated cousin, Judy and husband William
Gregoire. Preceded in death by her parents, Ivy and Lena Kelly
Ashford. Pallbearers will be Fellman Bercegeay, Raymond Wood,
William Gregoire, Johnny Ashford, Sonny Gregoire and Kenny
Gregoire. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, the Young at
Heart Club, and Zoar Church choir. Special thanks to Syntergy Home
