Died Monday,
May 6m 1881m at 5:30 a.m. at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was
59, and a native of Mississippi. He was a retired Baton Rouge Fire
Department employee. Visiting at Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale
Memorial Chapel, 6 to 10 p.m. Monday and after 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Religious services at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home,
conducted by Brother Louis Sullivan. Interment in Resthaven
Gardens of Memory. Survived by wife, Shirley Nettles; mother,
Jency Nettles; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Charlene Whiddon, Mrs.
Sheila Hogan and Mrs. Sharon Sanchez; a sister, Mary Zachary; a
brother, Charles Nettles; and six grandchildren. He was a member
of Faith Worship Center.
