Moneyhum Jr.,
Ralph Ralph Moneyhun Jr. of Webster, Texas, passed away peacefully
at his home on Monday, May 30, 2005. He was born April 26, 1932,
in Baton Rouge. He was a loving and devoted husband, father,
grandfather and great-grandfather who will be greatly missed by
his family. Mr. Moneyhun was a deacon at Bayshore Baptist Church
in LaPorte, Texas, a former member of Douglas Avenue Baptist
Church in Baton Rouge, and a graduate of Istrouma High School and
LSU. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a retired
electrical engineer. Mr. Moneyhun was preceded in death by his
loving wife of 48 years, Gay Shirley Moneyhun; parents, Ralph and
Florence; and brother, George. He is survived by his sons and
daughter-in-law, Rick F. Moneyhun and Bonny of Cedar Park, Texas,
and Kevin M. Moneyhun of Webster; grandchildren, Alex, Elizabeth,
Megan, Kelli and Sean; great-grandchildren, Clayton and Aidan;
brother and sister-in-law, Gary N. Moneyhun and Cheryl of Boston;
brother-in-law, Donald M. Wolfe of Metairie; nieces, Michaelle,
Gay, Adriann, Polly, Amanda and Tanya; nephew, Christian; and
loving friend Mary Marks of Laporte. Service at 11 a.m. Thursday
at Bayshore Baptist Church, Laporte. Service at Rabenhorst Funeral
Home, 825 Government St., at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3. Interment in
Resthaven Garden of Memories.
