A resident of Denham
Springs, she passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at her
home surrounded by her family. She was 78 and a native of Pike
County, Miss. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham
Springs, on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation
continues at the funeral home chapel on Friday, Oct. 2, from 9
a.m. until service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. James
Cowell. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Summit, Miss.
Survived by her daughters, Carolyn Broussard, and Sandra
Winger and husband John Winger; son, Chris Hennan and wife
Anne Hennan; sister, Betty Lessard and husband Aubrey Lessard;
brother, Willis R. Simmons and wife Chelette Simmons;
grandchildren, Jeri Patterson and Frith Zoll; seven
great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers
will be Justin and Dalton Clinard, Todd, Mitch and Mark
Bourgeois and Aubrey Lessard. Preceded in death by her
husband, Marion Joseph Hennan; and parents, Samuel P. and
Carrie Jones Simmons. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist
Church, Denham Springs.
