Died November
26, 1966, in Saigon, Viet Nam. He was a resident of 1470 Charmaine
Drive, Baton Rouge and was 34 years old. He was a captain in the
Air Force. Body at Welsh Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Religious services at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday
conducted by the Rev. John Melton and William D. O'Neal.
Entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum with military rites. Survived by
his wife, the former Carolyn Thomas; his mother, Mrs. Mary W.
Hogeman; three sons, Gene Hogeman, Jr., Stephen Gregory Hogeman,
and Gary Michael Hogeman, and one daughter, Suzanne Frances
Hogeman, all of Baton Rouge; and three brothers, H. H. Hogeman,
New Jersey, Wylie B. Hogeman, Pensacola, Fla., and Fred R. Hogeman,
Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church
and a graduate of L.S.U.
