A retired cook at Ruby's Restaurant and a homemaker, she died Sunday, Sept. 21, 1997, at her residence. She was 65, a native of Coal, Pa., and a resident of the Baton Rouge area for more than 50 years. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Fred Youngs. Survived by three sons, five daughters and four sons-in-law, Patrick R. Sullivan, Hamilton J. Sullivan Jr., Gail and Kim Simon, Patty Dupre, Sharon and Bobby J. Rasco, Mary and Glenn McMillian, Bridget and Richard Jermain and James R. Sullivan; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Steve Cominiti-Barrett; a brother-in-law, Jim Howard; a sister-in-law, Gloria Mercier; and eight grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Hamilton J. Sullivan Sr.; a son, William Grady Sullivan; and parents, Russell and Florence Barrett. She was a member of St. Isidore Catholic Church and a graduate of Istrouma High School.
