Funeral
services for Ward L. Barbay, a former city policeman, are
scheduled here in Baton Rouge on Thursday. Barbay, 40, died
in Methodist Hospital, Houston, Texas, Monday night May 22, 1972,
a day after brain surgery. His body is at Rabenhorst Funeral
Home until Wednesday, with religious services scheduled at St.
Gerard Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial in
Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He was a native of St. Rose and
a resident of Houston at the time of his death.
