BADON, JR. CLYDE MORRISON
A retired
mechanical engineer at Exxon Co. USA with 30 years of service and
a resident of St. Francisville, he died at 4:50 p.m. Tuesday, Feb.
15, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was
68 and a native and former longtime resident of Baton Rouge. He
was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral
Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 8:30 a.m. until religious
services at 10 a.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Bob Burgess and
the Rev. Harold Babin. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
Survived by his wife, Rebecca Patton Badon; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Debbie and Gary Davis and Karen and Curtiss Vidrine;
two sons, Robert Clyde and Clinton McCain Badon; two brothers, Dan
W. and Melvin M. Badon; 12 grandchildren, Matthew, Travis, Lauren,
Justin, Sarah, Ben and Zachariah Badon, Stacey Davis Longoria,
Brittany and Missy Davis and Curt and Becky Vidrine; and a
great-grandchild, Davis Chance Longoria. Preceded in death by his
parents, Frances D. and Clyde M. Badon Sr. He was a member of
Broadmoor United Methodist Church, Fairfield Masonic Lodge No.
425, F&AM, Exxon Fleur-de-Lis Retirement Club, American
Legion, Big Track Hunting Club and Lake Rosemound Association. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude
Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 300, Memphis,
TN 38148-0552.
